- Sermo, the largest online physician community with 112,000 physician members, conducted a survey which revealed that 26% of solo physician practices admitted they have been forced to close or are considering closing their practice; this poll foreshadows the coming shortage of primary care physicians due to reduced and delayed reimbursements and high overhead costs
